JNE & Associates, Inc. surveyed the drainage
system in the Chula Vista Marina Parkway to determine the extent
of wetland development within the proposed construction area.
Wetlands were delineated using the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
requirements for wetland identification.
After determining the extent of the area of wetlands impacted
by the proposed project, the surrounding area was reviewed for
possible mitigation sites. A potential mitigation site was proposed.
In addition to mitigating the proposed construction, the site
would improve water circulation in the Chula Vista Marina and
increase wetland visibility to the passing public.
