Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Development

To obtain water quality certification for construction a project specific stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPP) must be submitted to the permitting agency and maintained at the job site. JNE has developed Storm Water Pollution Plans for numerous projects.

A recent example of a stormwater pollution prevention plan in California involved the renovation of a well-known golf course. The work included redirecting and enlarging an existing creek which flowed directly into a coastal lagoon. Therefore it was imperative no material was discharged from the work area. JNE developed a stormwater pollution prevention plan that included temporary diversion dikes to control water flow and turbidity.
